Princess Aiko, the 8-year-old daughter of heir to the throne Crown Prince Naruhito and his wife Crown Princess Masako, missed several days of school during the past week, apparently rattled by rowdy behavior among boys in another class.
Issei Nomura, grand master of the crown prince's household, told reporters Friday that aside from appearing briefly at the Gakushuin Primary School where she is a second grade pupil on Tuesday, Aiko had missed classes for the other four days of the week.

　心労の内親王さま、学校を休む

　皇位継承者の皇太子徳仁さまとその妻の皇太子妃雅子さまの8歳になる娘、
愛子内親王さまが先週、学校を数日間休んだ。別の学級の男児たちによる乱暴
な振る舞いに、不安を覚えたらしい。
　野村一成東宮大夫は金曜日の記者会見で、愛子さまは火曜日に短時間、2年
生として在籍する学習院初等科に姿を見せたのを除き、先週の他の4日間は授
業に出なかったと発表した。
